How to make my TP-LINK Kasa devices work with Google Weave

Supported models: Kasa smart plugs (HS105), Kasa smart lightbulbs (LB100, LB110, LB120, LB130).

Before we start, make sure you meet the following requirements.

  • App version: 1.5
  • Device firmware:
    (If you don't know how to update your firmware, please check "Firmware Update Guide")

Step 1: Go to Device Settings

Go to each device that you’d like to enable Google Weave on and tap the settings icon.

Step 2: Tap Third Party Service

Scroll to the bottom of the device settings page to access the Third Party Service option.

If you don't find it, please check that your app and your device meet the requirements.

Step 3: Enable Google Weave

Enable Google Weave on the Third Party Integration screen.

Step 4: Link to your Google Account

Google will request your Google account authorization. Please insert your Google Account and Password.

Step 5: Allow Google Weave Permission

Once authorized, allow Google to access and manage your authorized TP-LINK smart devices.

Step 6: All Done!

Google will take a few seconds to establish the relationship.

Once complete, you should see Google Weave enabled on the Third Party Integration screen.

Now you can go to the Google Weave Developer Console to control your authorized TP-LINK smart devices!
