Troubleshooting with IINET NBN Fibre connection

Due to the Mac address restriction on some ISP, when you setup a new Wireless Router/EWAN mode modem router on the existing NBN connection, you may need the following method:

Method One:

1. Make sure that any computers or routers are plugged into the correct UNI-D port on your NBN Connection Box. This is the port that was activated when your equipment was installed

2. If you can’t get online, perform a power cycle by following the instructions below. Do not press the reset button on your NBN Connection box – if a fault needs to be lodged, resetting    the Connection box can prevent NBN Co from being able to fix your connection remotely.

3. Turn off the power at the electrical outlet your NBN Power Supply Unit is plugged into.

4. After the electrical outlet has been turned off, unplug the power cable from the power socket at the bottom of your Connection Box.

5.    5. Wait 1-2 minutes, and then plug the power cable back into the Connect Box.

6.    6. Turn the electrical outlet for the Power Supply Unit back on.

7.    7. Wait for the NBN equipment to reboot, and then try to view a website on your computer.

Method Two:

1.    1. Find out your previous router’s MAC address. This normally written on the back of the device, as below:

2.    2. Open the web browser and in the address bar type in default access like http://192.168.1.1, then pressEnter.

4.    4. Find Network->MAC Clone. Different models vary different web management page.
5.    5. Enter the previous router’s Mac address into your new wireless router, then Click Save to save the settings.

Method Three:
