With the Tapo app, you can check the Robot Vacuum's real-time cleaning progress when you start cleaning. Even when you are away from home, you can still track the cleaning progress.
The cleaning progress is calculated as the ratio of the cleaned area to the total map area. However, several factors can affect the accuracy of this display:
- If the robot vacuum encounters obstacles like a glass door or a threshold, it may skip cleaning certain areas. These areas will be deducted from the total map area, which can lead to sudden changes in the cleaning progress.
- When the robot cleans multiple times, the total map area counted will be the original map area multiplied by the number of cleaning sessions.
- The cleaning progress display updates less frequently.
- When you pause cleaning and add restricted areas or virtual walls, the robot vacuum cannot access some areas when cleaning continues. These areas will be deducted from the total map area, which can lead to sudden changes in the cleaning progress.
